Rustwater Larp is a lightest-touch LARP that blends the genres of post-apoc, fantasy, and urban fantasy to create a magical, horrific gaming experience that is truly unique.
Rustwater is set in the 24th century right here in Michigan, on the same site as the camp! In 2026, humankind was severely affected by a virus that caused the dead to rise again and seek the taste of human flesh. Since the creation of the Risen (zombies), other lineages of creatures from legend have come out of hiding.
Join us at Rustwater to build a new community in the new and dangerous world that remains. Fight werewolves, vampires, Risen, Restless, and other (generally non-player) survivors, and claim your place in the history of the world you build.
Rustwater embraces multiple genres, including post-apoc and horror, but it is a cooperative game. This game is intended to show that something new can be rebuilt out of the ashes despite how tough the world can be.
Rustwater LARP welcomes anyone over the age of 15 and requires a special waiver for players between 15 and 17. All waivers will be available at game at your first event.
Players must register through the link on the homepage by midnight on the Wednesday preceding the event.
